1. About this policy

This Privacy Policy explains how ELITE ATHLETICS PERFORMANCE LLC ("Elite Athletics," "we," "us," or "our") handles personal information when you use the Elite Nutrition mobile application, related account and password-recovery pages, and connected coaching features (collectively, "Elite Nutrition").

Elite Nutrition is initially offered only in the United States and is intended only for people age 18 or older. This policy does not cover a coach's separate business practices outside Elite Nutrition or third-party services you choose to access independently.

2. Information we collect

Depending on the features you use, we may collect or create the following information:

Account and profile information: first and last name, email address, account identifier, date of birth, sex, height, weight, preferred units, time zone, profile biography, social links, and profile photograph.
Goals and fitness information: activity level, training frequency, training type, training time, primary nutrition or fitness goal, and goal weight.
Nutrition preferences and restrictions: diet style, cooking time, budget preference, food preferences, liked and disliked foods, allergies, intolerances, medical restrictions, and other dietary restrictions you choose to provide.
Nutrition targets and derived information: calorie, macronutrient, fiber, and hydration targets; target history; food-quality or Elite Score results; nutrition guidance; and other calculations based on information you provide.
Food and hydration activity: food logs, serving amounts, meal type and time, nutrition values, hydration entries, meal history, custom or favorite foods and meals, and optional notes.
Meal-planning content: generated meal plans, recipes, recipe changes, grocery lists, meal-preparation schedules, favorites, checklist state, cooking questions, and related notes or preferences.
Food search and product information: search terms, barcodes, product and serving information, ingredients, allergens, and nutrition-label information.
Images: an optional profile image and nutrition-label photographs you submit for analysis. Barcode camera frames remain on the device; only decoded barcode text is sent for lookup.
Coach relationship information: invite-code redemption, active and historical coach-client link status, coach-entered target changes, private coach notes, and records of authorized coach actions.
App activity and technical information: feature-use counters, generation and import job status, operational errors, timestamps, and security or audit events. Our infrastructure providers may also process IP addresses, request metadata, device/browser information, and logs needed to deliver and protect the service.
Authentication information: password and session information are handled by our authentication provider. Elite Nutrition does not store your plaintext password in its application database.

We do not currently collect payment-card information, offer in-app purchases or subscriptions, access precise or coarse device location, access contacts, or use advertising identifiers.

3. How we use information

We use information to:

create, authenticate, secure, support, and delete accounts;
complete onboarding and verify the 18+ product requirement;
calculate and personalize nutrition, calorie, macro, fiber, and hydration targets;
let you search, scan, create, log, edit, and review foods and meals;
analyze nutrition labels and return structured nutrition information for your review;
generate meal plans, recipes, grocery lists, cooking help, scores, and daily guidance;
connect you with a coach when you choose to redeem an invite code;
provide authorized coach features and let you revoke coach access;
operate, troubleshoot, monitor, secure, and improve Elite Nutrition; and
communicate about account confirmation, password recovery, support, privacy, or service changes.

We may create aggregate or de-identified information for service operations or improvement where the information is no longer reasonably linked to an individual.

4. Artificial intelligence processing

Elite Nutrition uses OpenAI to support features such as nutrition-label analysis, meal-plan and recipe generation, recipe variations, cooking assistance, and personalized nutrition guidance.

For nutrition-label analysis, the photographs themselves are sent through an Elite Nutrition server function to OpenAI so the label can be read. We do not save those label photographs to our application database or file storage. We retain the structured information returned from the analysis, related processing metadata, and any corrections or food information you choose to save.

Meal-planning and related AI requests may include your nutrition targets, goals, activity level, food preferences, dietary restrictions, selected plan preferences, approved ingredient information, questions, and free-form notes relevant to the request. The identified meal-plan prompt does not include your name, email address, account ID, date of birth, sex, height, or weight.

Our OpenAI account is configured with model-feedback, evaluation/fine-tuning, and input/output data-sharing settings disabled. The primary nutrition-label Responses API request uses store:false. We do not claim Zero Data Retention: OpenAI may temporarily process or retain limited API data under its applicable security and abuse-monitoring policies. AI output may be incomplete or inaccurate and should be reviewed before use.

5. Coach access and sharing

You choose whether to connect with a coach by entering an invite code. While a relationship is active, the coach can access the information needed for the current coaching experience, including your name, goal and activity summary, nutrition targets and target history, food-log nutrition snapshots, custom-food names needed to interpret logs, Elite Scores, meal plans, recipes, grocery information, generated meal-plan file metadata, and onboarding completion state.

The coach-facing data interface does not provide your full profile row, date of birth, sex, height, weight, time zone, or private food-log notes. Coaches may create private coach notes, adjust or propose targets, manage supported recipe features, and create meal-plan PDF exports. Private coach notes are not shown to clients.

You may disconnect from your coach in the Coach area of the app. Disconnecting immediately ends the coach's active access. Historical relationship, coach-note, security, or audit records may remain until account deletion or for legitimate security and recordkeeping needs. Deleting your account terminates the coach relationship.

6. Service providers and external data sources

We use service providers and data sources to operate Elite Nutrition. They process information under their own applicable terms and privacy commitments:

Supabase: authentication, database, storage, server functions, access controls, and related infrastructure.
OpenAI: AI nutrition-label analysis and generation features described above.
Vercel: hosting for account-recovery and coach/admin web experiences.
Expo and EAS: mobile-app build, update, and delivery infrastructure and related technical logs.
Apple and Google: app distribution, operating-system services, and store administration. Elite Nutrition currently has no paid pricing, in-app purchases, or subscriptions.
USDA FoodData Central: whole-food search and nutrition reference data. Search terms are sent without an Elite Nutrition account identifier.
Open Food Facts: packaged-food and barcode lookup. Search terms or barcode values are sent without an Elite Nutrition account identifier.
Authentication email provider: delivery of account confirmation, password recovery, and other transactional authentication emails. The provider receives the recipient address and email content necessary to deliver the message.

We do not currently export personal information to a CRM, email-marketing platform, advertising platform, or external spreadsheet. A future Kajabi integration is not active and is not part of current processing.

7. No advertising, tracking, or sale

Elite Nutrition does not contain advertising SDKs, request IDFA/ATT permission, engage in cross-app or cross-site tracking, use behavioral advertising, or provide data to data brokers. We do not sell personal information. We do not share personal information for targeted or cross-context behavioral advertising.

8. Retention

We generally retain account and feature data while your account is active and as needed to provide, secure, troubleshoot, and maintain Elite Nutrition. Different records have different lifecycles:

nutrition-label photographs are processed transiently and are not saved in Elite Nutrition application storage;
generated meal-plan PDFs are scheduled for deletion after 7 days, and their signed access links expire after 1 hour;
a deleted food log is hidden from normal app views but may remain as a soft-deleted record until account deletion or a later purge;
active coach access ends immediately when either party ends the relationship, while historical relationship and audit records may remain; and
records without a stated fixed period are retained for the account lifetime or as reasonably needed for service, security, dispute prevention, and legal obligations.

Deletion from active systems may not remove information immediately from encrypted backups, infrastructure logs, security records, or a processor's systems. Those copies may persist temporarily under provider backup, security, and log-rotation practices and are isolated or deleted as those systems cycle. We do not promise instantaneous erasure from every backup or log.

9. Account deletion and privacy choices

You can permanently delete your account in the app by going to Account → Profile & Account → Delete account → Delete my account, typing DELETE, and selecting Permanently delete account. You can also request deletion at [email protected] if you cannot access the app. We may verify your identity before acting on an email request.

Account deletion removes the authentication account and associated user-owned application data from active systems, including profile, goals, preferences and restrictions, targets, logs, hydration, plans, recipes, grocery information, generated files, profile images, and coach relationships, subject to the backup, logging, security, and legal qualifications above. Certain audit records may be retained or de-identified.

You can review and correct many profile, goal, nutrition, food, and plan details directly in the app. You may disconnect a coach without deleting your account. For access, correction, deletion, or other privacy questions that cannot be completed in the app, contact [email protected]. We may need to confirm your identity and may retain information when reasonably necessary for security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, or legal obligations.

10. Security

We use safeguards evident in the service design, including authenticated accounts, encrypted network transport, database row-level access controls, owner-scoped private records, active-link authorization for coach access, private storage and time-limited links for generated files, separation of server credentials from mobile client configuration, audit records for privileged actions, and separation of Beta and production environments.

No security method is perfect, and we cannot guarantee that information will never be lost, misused, or accessed without authorization.

11. Adults only

Elite Nutrition is for adults age 18 and older. We require a date of birth and use technical controls to prevent a person under 18 from completing onboarding. Elite Nutrition is not designed for children, and it does not provide a parental-consent workflow. 12. U.S.-only service

Elite Nutrition is initially offered only to users in the United States. Our service providers may process information in locations described by their own infrastructure and contractual terms.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as Elite Nutrition changes. We will post the updated policy with a new effective date and provide additional notice when reasonably appropriate. Continued use after an update means the new policy applies to future use, subject to applicable rights.
